We're looking for a Cultivation & Processing Technician to join our team!
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the cannabis industry. This role offers a unique blend of indoor post-harvest processing work during the fall and winter, transitioning to outdoor cultivation and propagation activities in the spring and summer. If you like variety in your work and don't mind getting your hands dirty, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
Post-Harvest Processing (Fall/Winter)
Carefully hand-trim dried cannabis flower using scissors and other tools
Remove stems and excess leaves while maintaining product quality
Weigh and track trimmed material with accuracy
Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and workstations
Follow all hygiene, safety, and compliance protocols (SOPs)
Meet daily and weekly production targets
Cultivation & Field Work (Spring/Summer)
Assist with propagation tasks, including seeding, transplanting, and cloning
Perform outdoor field work such as planting, watering, weeding, pruning, and harvesting
Support general crop care and greenhouse maintenanceo Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Take direction from cultivation leads and maintain a clean, organized growing environment
We're Looking for Someone who:
Enjoys physical, hands-on work
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods of time
Appreciates working with plants and care about quality
Is reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
Is an active listener and kind in all situations
Is a team player who can follow directions and takes pride in their work
Work Environment & Schedule
Work shifts may vary seasonally between indoor processing areas and outdoor/greenhouse settings
Exposure to strong smells and PPE requirements
Expected hours are 40 per week.
Schedule may include weekdays and occasional weekends depending on the season
Seasonal fluctuations in hours, workload, and tasks
We offer an hourly rate between $25 and $27 based on experience.
