Our location in Medicine Hat, Alberta, owned by Canalta, is now hiring for the Culinary Manager position. Your duties and responsibilities would include:

Full Time: 30-44 Hours/Week

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:

3 years to less than 5 years

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks:

Evaluate daily operations, Monitor revenues to determine labour cost, Monitor staff performance, Recruit staff, Set staff work schedules, Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms, Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, Organize and maintain inventory, Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, Address customers' complaints or concerns, Provide customer service, Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, Establish methods to meet work schedules, Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, Prepare budget and cost estimates, Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Supervise and check assembly of trays, Prepare and submit reports, Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, Hire food service staff

More than 20 people, Staff in various areas of responsibility

Credentials:

First Aid Certificate, ProServe Program, Food Safety Certificate
