Join our team as Culinary Manager - Part Time!



Part Time Opportunity - 14 Hours Weekly



As a member of the management teamthe Culinary Manager is responsible and accountable for managing all aspects of the food service within the Home and meeting the nutritional needs of the residents. Ensures and provides safe, efficient and effective preparation and delivery of food to residents and staff and for special events

The following traits and qualifications are required:

Successful completion of a recognized course in Food Service Management and/or Nutrition Management or previous experience working as a Nutrition Manager in Long Term Care.

Be a member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management or a registered dietician as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021, ss. 70 and Ontario Regulation 81/22 (1).

Successful completion of the food handlers training program, provided by public health, under the Health Protection and Promotion Act

Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education

Must be computer literate

Minimum of 2 years food service management experience in Long Term Care (Gerontology)
