The instructor will teach students how to design visual communication for business and non-profit organizations. Through a combination of projects, students will design and publish documents for internal and external publics, connecting with their audience through print and web media products.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate must hold a MA, MFA, or PhD with a focus on Creative Technologies and/or Design, or equivalent as related to the course. The successful candidate must provide:
Evidence of experience teaching at the university level;
Evidence of experience teaching Adobe Illustrator, In Design, and Photoshop, as well as design processes, visual communication and graphic design;
Evidence of teaching critical thinking and analytical skills necessary to analyze visual identity design, and propose solutions grounded in theoretical understandings;
Evidence of experience managing classroom and online technologies used by UofR.

CTCH/DES 215-990 is scheduled on Thursdays from 1800-2045 - on campus delivery.
