About You and this Role
Dow's Path2Zero Program is seeking a xe2x80x8bLP8/LP7R Commissioning & Start-up Analyzer Lead to support large scale capital projects at the Fort Saskatchewan site in Alberta, Canada.

In this role, you will work closely with the Maintenance and Reliability representative and be a key member of the Commissioning and Start-up team for the new Gas Phase Polyethylene LP8 plant in Fort Saskatchewan and the existing LP7 retrofit project in Prentiss.
This role can be located at either our Fort Saskatchewan or Prentiss site. During C&SU execution, you are expected to be on location (travel support will be provided). After Return to Operations (RTO), you must be willing to travel to support long term maintenance at both sites.
After the Project reaches Return to Operations (RTO), this role will transition to the LP7/LP8 Analyzer DAS supporting both facilities and will be resized to reflect organizational needs. Timing and details will be documented with a letter of understanding at the time of offer acceptance. The incumbent will be supported to apply for other opportunities during the transition period, if desired.
The responsibilities of this role during Project Construction, Commissioning and Start-up including of:

• Lead the development of Analyzer Commissioning and Start-up Procedures & Binder.
• Support Maint. reps. for Spare Part Interchangeability Record (SPIR) review for Analyzer MST and setup stocking quantity aligning with ERS and site requirement.
• Review of Analyzer Equipment Protection Plan and participate in field audit throughout construction phase.
• Develop the Predictive & Preventative Maintenance Program (PPM) for Analyzer equipment.
• Collaborate with Reliability Engineer for Equipment Reliability Strategy implementation.
• Support in setting up C&SU database in Provenience for Analyzer.
• Work with Maintenance rep. to setup plan for Analyzer C&SU resources
• Work with Maintenance rep. to setup plan for Analyzer tool and special tool.
• Maintenance Repair Procedure Development
• Lead Analyzer equipment commissioning activities.
• Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for Process Analytical Measurement Centers (PAMC), Analytical Free Standing Enclosures (AFSE) and Analyzer Free Standing Racks (AFSR).

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyperson Certificate or Red Seal Designation in Instrumentation.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (i.e. apprenticeships, journeyman, maintenance, manufacturing or related)
• Willing and able to travel up to 25% (domestically & internationally).
• Ability to safely work in a plant environment, meet physical demands, work at elevated heights, and comfortably use PPE and safety equipment (including harnesses with a total maximum weight capacity of 300lbs). Must be familiar with or open to training on proper equipment usage.
• Prior C&SU experience is preferred.
• A background in Solution PE Technology is preferred.
• A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including any type of permanent residency support.
