Crushing Plant Operators

Canada Fluorspar (NL) Inc. is looking for experienced and motivated

Crusher Operators

to join the mill operations team. This position is a full-time position. The Crusher Operator is a crucial position to support the successful operation of Canada Fluorspar.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Monitoring and inspecting crushing equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctions and to ensure crushing equipment is operating normally. Operating crushing plant equipment, monitoring performance, and ensuring all safety and environmental standards are followed. Reporting any deviations to plant conditions or parameters to minimize plant delays and breakdowns. Completing and maintaining logs and reports, ensuring accuracy in reporting of data Maintaining area of responsibility according to standard operating procedures Perform miscellaneous labor activities, ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained according to company standards

Qualifications

:

Highschool Diploma Minimum of two (2) years of previous crushing experience is preferred. Experience with mill operations is considered an asset. Must be able to lift 10 lbs with each hand and up to 50 lbs with both hands. Ability to work in loud, dusty, and/or wet environments, indoors and outdoors, around heavy equipment. Previous equipment training (skidsteer, telehandler etc) preferred Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Interested candidates must possess a valid driver's license
