Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds-person/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on construction site ensuring smooth operation of crushing equipment .
Working 12 hour shifts. Days on a 10 on 4 off rotation.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks such as changing of screens, moving equipment, shoveling belts if required, greasing of equipment & various other labour work
- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, graders, backhoes, and other machinery
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines on-site
Qualifications
- Experience in heavy equipment operation is a asset
- Experience in crushing operation is highly recommended
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Mechanical knowledge/background is an asset
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
