About the opportunity:

This is our first virtual specialist team in Canada. As a Cruise Sales Consultant you will help to plan, book, and coordinate your customers' next amazing travel/cruise experience. You'll be working towards KPI's and sales targets so building your customer relationships and satisfaction will be critical to your success in this role. Consulting with clients via the phone, video consultations and our website to determine travel needs, providing suggestions and recommendations utilizing Flight Centre's preferred cruise suppliers. Responsible for building and maintaining a strong customer base, providing a superior customer experience, achieving monthly KPIs while adhering to One-Best-Way processes and practices.

  • Have a passion for the cruise industry.
  • Experienced multiple cruises in various destinations.
  • Experienced cruise sales consultant
  • Completed several cruise supplier educational programs and have a desire to learn more.
  • You obsess over details; take pride in being organized and can juggle competing priorities with the ability to quickly shift gears when needed.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build strong business relationships.
  • You embrace egalitarianism, irreverence, and ownership.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Strong history of cruise sales (MUST)
  • Extensive cruise travel experience to a minimum of 3 cruises or worked on ships (preferred)
  • 2 years' experience in travel sales including cruise sales
  • Completion of multiple cruise line education programs (preferred)
  • Experience with Sabre GDS, advanced computer skills and confidence to learn new systems
  • You have achieved your high school diploma or higher
  • A track record of meeting goals and/or targets
  • International travel experience
