The Ministry of the Attorney General, Criminal Law Division offers an opportunity in the Cybercrime Team for four (4) Crown Counsel.

What is the Cybercrime Team?

The Cybercrime Team is a specialized unit of dedicated Crown prosecutors who are specifically trained in the unique factual, technical, and legal issues inherent in technology-based crimes. These Crowns provide pre-charge advice to the various police cybercrime units, assist in asset recovery, and prosecute complex and novel cybercrime cases, working with the police from the early stages of an investigation to trial. The team receives cases directly from police services across the province. The Criminal Law Division is a large geographically dispersed operation with approximately 1900 staff who help protect community and personal safety through prosecution of offences across the province. The division\'s vision is to be the foremost prosecution service in Canada, and this vision is supported through the divisional mission, values, and key strategies.
