Summary

We are seeking Truck Drivers to join our dynamic team at Laidlaw Carriers located in Southern and Southwestern Ontario Canada. This role is vital to our operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight while upholding our commitment to excellence and teamwork.

THIS IS NOT A CANADA ONLY POSITION. You will need to comfortable being in the truck for 4-6 days a week.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes and schedules. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Participate in ongoing training to enhance driving skills and safety awareness.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required. 2 YEARS of Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures. Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment is preferred. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
