Duties

Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards to ensure quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing their needs promptly. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities through friendly recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness. Support team members during busy periods by managing cashiering duties, food prep, or serving as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation within quick service or fast food restaurants. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math for transactions and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience in retail or grocery environments is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with serving customers in fast-paced settings. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods. Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous for food prep responsibilities.
