Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to Five Guys standards. Taking orders at the cash register and operating the POS system efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and taking orders accurately. Handle cash transactions with precision while ensuring proper cash handling procedures. Maintain sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift. Perform other duties as assigned by management - such as various cleaning tasks around the restaurant.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. A passion for serving others and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Opportunity to be promoted to an hourly shift manager in approx 6-9 months

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.80 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
