Duties

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cash handling. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Assist with food handling tasks, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is beneficial.
