Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and dining areas Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines Collaborate with team members to meet service goals during peak hours

Skills

Experience in food preparation and handling within a restaurant setting Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is preferred
