Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience Manage cashier responsibilities, including processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions Uphold food safety and sanitation standards through proper food handling and cleaning procedures Assist in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and dining area Engage in upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase sales Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety protocols Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Experience with food industry standards such as sanitation, serving, and upselling is desirable A positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
