Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures. Assist with maintaining a tidy dining area for guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and preparation.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service industry or quick service/fast food restaurant is preferred. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems is advantageous but not required.
