Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and taking orders Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly

Skills

Experience in food preparation and handling within a restaurant setting Proficiency in using POS systems, preferably Micros POS Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required
