Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, for efficient order processing. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer needs. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area for guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or quick service/fast food restaurant is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with cashiering duties and POS systems is advantageous. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
