Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and recipes
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and card transactions
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience
Handle cash accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods
Support team members in various restaurant operations as needed to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety protocols
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to perform basic math for transactions and inventory management
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
Experience in cashiering, serving, or restaurant operations is a plus
Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety standards
Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory
