to join our Guelph location. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, dependable, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced food service environment.

As a Team Member, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and delivering exceptional customer service. If you're passionate about food and committed to excellence, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation:

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. Slice meats and vegetables as needed, ensuring freshness and consistency. Complete daily prep work, including meat and veggie preparation.

Customer Service:

Provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service to all customers. Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance the customer experience. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for order entry and payment processing.

Sanitation & Cleanliness:

Maintain cleanliness of food prep areas, dining room, washrooms, and equipment. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper storage and labeling. Handle dishwashing and regular cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, etc.).

Teamwork & Time Management:

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Stay organized and manage tasks efficiently in a high-volume environment. Assist with inventory checks and notify management of low stock.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in food service or customer service is mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems are an asset. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Must be able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Willingness to undergo training (3-hour shifts). Long-term commitment is required.

Schedule Information:

Morning Shift:

Starts at 9:00 AM, 9:30 AM, or 11:00 AM

Evening Shift:

Starts at 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM and ends by 8:00 PM or 11:00 PM

Weekend availability is mandatory

Holiday availability is required
