Are you an experienced painter ready to take the lead? JJMFG Contracting Inc. is growing, and we're looking for a

motivated, reliable Lead Hand (Crew Lead)

to join our team.

We specialize in interior and exterior painting projects in the Waterloo Region with a reputation for quality, professionalism, and treating every home like it's our own.

What You'll Do:

Lead and motivate a small crew of painters on job sites while maintaining deadlines and adhering to the schedule Work alongside the team to complete prep, painting, and light renovations Ensure high standards of workmanship and attention to detail Communicate with clients in a friendly and professional way Maintain site cleanliness, safety, and efficiency Report progress and frequent communication with owner/operations

What You Bring / Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of painting experience (interior/exterior) A strong work ethic and leadership mindset Driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work independently and with a team Problem-solving skills and a positive attitude Experience in airless spraying an asset Experience in other renovations an asset (flooring, trim, cabinets, demo)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
