Job Overview


Little Leaf Interiors is a Calgary-based, residential interior renovation company, specializing in Basement Development & Suite legalization, bathrooms, kitchens, flooring and touch-up/refresh projects.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced, multi-talented Crew Lead to join our team as a senior on-site "jack-of-many-trades". The ideal candidate will be accountable, punctual, possess excellent communication skills, and be comfortable in a lead role. As a Crew Lead you must be experienced on tools, have a good understanding of building and renovation processes. You will be responsible for ensuring project quality, safety on-site, and efficiency while maintaining adherence to project plans and schedules.

Responsibilities



Jack-of-many-trades: This role requires a multi-skilled craftsman (tasks may include framing, drywall, flooring, base & trim, painting, cabinet/shower/bath installs, etc) Comfortable and proficient with hand tools, power tools and machinery Lead and supervise crews on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications Effective time management - for yourself and your team Must be comfortable talking to clients, other sub-trades and giving instructions or assigning tasks to junior team members. Read and interpret construction documents to guide team activities Maintain positive relationships with clients and trades Oversee quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations Coordinate with project manager, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and workflow Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections on-site Provide training and mentorship to team members to promote skill development and adherence to best practices Heavy lifting may be required from time to time A valid driver's license is required

Experience



Proven experience in construction and/or renovation Moderate to high level of experience and proficiency in framing, drywall, flooring, finishing, cabinetry, painting, etc., all considered assets Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple tasks effectively considered a strong asset.

A valid driver's license is require, as this position will travel to multiple locations regularly.

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
