Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boat Captain to oversee the safe operation of our 2 vessels. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional navigational skills, and a passion for maritime activities. As a Boat Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of passengers and crew while providing an enjoyable experience on the water.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and operate the vessel safely in various weather conditions and waterways.
• Ensure compliance with all maritime regulations and safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-departure inspections to ensure the vessel is in proper working condition.
• Manage crew members, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient operations during trips.
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers, addressing their needs and inquiries.
• Maintain accurate logs of operations, including trip details, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
• Perform routine maintenance on the vessel, including cleaning and mechanical checks.
• Rig equipment as necessary for various activities such as fishing or recreational boating.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Boat Captain or in a similar role is required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on the vessel.
• Familiarity with navigation systems, safety equipment, and emergency procedures is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with passengers.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $240.00-$350.00 per day
