We are looking for a Resource Manager for our Brand/Design team. As the mandate for our internal creative team expands, this is a new role designed to help keep us organized and deliver great marketing materials. We are looking for someone to help us develop the right processes to work as efficiently and effectively as possible. The Creative Resource Manager will lead the talent and workload for the creative services team and workflow between internal partners. They will direct and help coordinate the day-to-day creative efforts. In this role, the Creative Resource Manager helps ensure that the group maintains:

What you\'ll do:

Resource Management

Leads internal and external resources to ensure all creative work is completed on time and with high quality.

Allocates internal creative resources to projects ensuring capacity to complete the work and abilities are matched to the work required.

Assesses workload and skills required of outside creative resources

Sources, books and administrates (i.e. invoices etc.) all external resources.

Builds network of reliable, skilled external resources. Regularly assesses their work.

Project and Process Management

Monitors and forecasts day to day project activities and resourcing. Monitors staffing and resources against assigned projects to meet project deadlines and budgets

Runs weekly resource meeting and facilitate resourcing issues / conflict resolution with Production Team and appropriate department heads

Identifies potential instances of underutilization and overutilization and actively work with department leads to address and solve those issues

Identifies project risk and out of scope requests, advances issues as needed

Recommends operational improvements for Resource Management

Stakeholder Management

Handles communication around shifting priorities with key partners at varying levels of seniority.

Arranges weekly meetings with Director/AVP Team leads, to discuss all active programs and potential new business as well as to stay informed of potential issues such as resource and change control matters

Provides and maintains group resource status - liaising with all teams to provide accurate updates of resource needs

Initiates and leads all appropriate project and intake meetings

What you\'ll bring:

Post-secondary education in advertising or related field would be an asset but not required.

Project management and/or design eduction is an asset but not required.

Minimum 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an advertising/marketing agency or corporate environment in either resourcing or project management role

Must have an understanding of the flow of a creative project and the role of each department i.e. account service/business line, project management, copywriting, and design.

Exceedingly skilled at collaborating cross-functionally, at all levels.

Excellent time management and prioritization skills
