Our Moncton, New Brunswick facility is a centre of excellence for indoor cannabis cultivation, R&D, and advanced automation. In Lac-Superieur, Quebec, we focus on premium flower and traditional hash production. Our Winnipeg, Manitoba site is a highly automated facility dedicated to edibles & beverage manufacturing. Our Aylmer, Ontario facility specializes in the production of infused pre-rolls and features automated vape filling capabilities.

The Creative Lead will lead the creative strategy and art direction for our corporate Organigram brand as well as our recreational and international portfolio of brands. This leadership role within the Communications department will involve the development of strategic creative concepts as well as overseeing the creative output for a team.



A proven track record in campaign design, brand building, production, print, and digital graphics will be crucial to the strategy function's success. Your leadership and creative expertise will shape the direction and quality of our creative output, ensuring that our corporate, international and recreational brands are visually compelling and aligned with our overall objectives.



In addition to a strong creative skillset, we are seeking an experienced cross-functional collaborator with organizational savvy. You will work closely with the Digital/Communications team and IBU, and cross-functionally with brand managers and trade marketing, to ideate and create best-in-class materials that drive business results.



Key Responsibilities



DESIGN

Develop and execute strategic design solutions for our corporate and recreational brands supporting business priorities and key marketing objectives Present creative concepts internally as required and guide the articulation of brand narratives through visual design.

ART DIRECTION

Collaborate with project managers and marketing leads to prioritize and manage design work effectively to produce industry-leading creative work Provide clear/objective critiques of design work during production Working closely with the studio project manager delegating projects to appropriate team members to maximize resource deployment Ensure that ideas/designs are produced in a timely manner, on budget and with the degree of quality promised Encourage innovative and out-of-the box creative ideas with the design team

CREATIVE LEARDERSHIP

Demonstrate leadership through ownership of creative strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and influence across brand, trade, digital, and communications teams. Act as a brand steward, upholding design standards and guiding the visual expression of the brand across all touchpoints. Contribute to a culture of creative excellence and continuous improvement

Qualifications:



6+ years of related work experience in a creative firm ideally responsible for consumer-packaged goods, regulated goods or related B2C brand building Post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Creative Communications, Fine Arts or a related field Proven track record of creating high-quality, innovative, and effective creative concepts for digital and traditional marketing channels. Work experience as either a senior designer or an art director Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising and mentoring creative teams Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills Passion for staying updated with the latest design and marketing trends and applying them to drive business results at all consumer and customer touch points.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in Toronto office required
