They design and develop learning experiences for our clients to facilitate their employees in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and engaging manner. Our writers use a combination of trending Instructional Design and creative writing practices to structure content and activities to create impactful instructional material for the modern-day learner.What You'll Do:

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling content that enhances retention and the overall learning process
  • Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs
  • State instructional end goals and create content surrounding them
  • Collaborate, from beginning to end, with our in-house graphic designers and developers to create the finished product
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product to inform your script
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practices and methods
  • Help create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games)
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
What You Bring:
  • Post-secondary education in instructional design, creative writing, marketing & communications, education, or equivalent
  • Ability to write effective, engaging copy for diverse audiences
  • Ability to smoothly pivot style, tone, and voice
  • Experience engaging and speaking with various clients professionally
  • Passion for using storytelling to share information and reach audiences
  • Experience writing marketing copy for various brands
  • Excellent time and self-management skills, attention to detail and a knack for processes
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced, team environment
Like-to-Haves:
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Basic HTML/XML knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
  • Visual design skills and ability to understand storyboarding
  • Experience taking initiative on projects
  • Understanding and implementation of the agile process
  • Familiarity with project management software
