About the Role
You will lead small-group classes for children ages
2-7 years old
, with different age-specific programming:
Ages 2-3 & 3-4:
Creative play-based art and craft activities
Ages 5-7:
Hands-on STEM classes using fun, engaging kits
This role is perfect for someone who loves working with kids, can balance structure with creativity, and enjoys bringing ideas to life.
Responsibilities
Design and develop engaging, age-appropriate class programming
Source and prepare materials for activities and projects
Lead interactive, hands-on classes with energy and enthusiasm
Encourage creativity, curiosity, and confidence in children
Communicate positively with parents and caregivers
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and fun environment
Qualifications
Experience working with young children (teaching, tutoring, camp, or childcare setting)
Creative background in
arts, crafts, or STEM
(formal teaching certification is an asset but not required)
Strong organizational skills and ability to plan lessons/programming
High energy, enthusiasm, and a love for inspiring kids
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Schedule & Details
Classes run on
Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Morning:
9:00 am - 11:30 am
Afternoon:
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Small class sizes (around 8 students per group)
Compensation based on experience
