Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pile Driver to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating pile driving equipment to assist in foundation work for various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy machinery, safety protocols, and effective communication skills to ensure efficient project completion. The Pile Driver will work closely with other construction professionals to deliver quality results while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Operate pile driving equipment, including boom trucks, cranes, and rigging tools, to install piles accurately according to project specifications Assist with the setup and securing of equipment using rigging and forklift operations Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks Conduct safety inspections of machinery and work areas before and during operation Communicate effectively with team members, including bilingual or multilingual staff, to facilitate smooth workflow Perform mechanical checks and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance Follow all safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on-site Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to pile driving machinery when necessary

Skills

Proven experience in construction, particularly in pile driving or heavy equipment operation Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, boom trucks, and rigging equipment safely and efficiently Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective team coordination Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or site visitors Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, often outdoors in varying weather conditions Good understanding of safety procedures and protocols in construction settings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 per hour
