We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various equipment and systems. This role requires a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety within the organization.
Duties
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, and electrical systems as needed.
Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used in accordance with company policies.
Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement in processes and equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems as required.
Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
Travel by company vehicle to customers facilities on a daily basis and assist in determining the extent of repairs required.
Ensure full compliance with the Company Vehicle maintenance program.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Millwright or Electrician Red Seal Certificate.
Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar role is advantageous.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in maintenance tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
