About Us:

We are a fast-growing formwork and concrete company in Halifax, delivering

high-rise, commercial, and residential projects

across Nova Scotia. With multiple major projects underway, we are expanding our lifting team and looking for an experienced

Crane Rigger

to support safe and efficient operations.

Position Overview:

The Crane Rigger will work closely with crane operators and site supervisors to ensure safe and precise lifting activities. We are seeking individuals who are safety-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to grow with a company that values its people.

Responsibilities:

Safely rig loads for

tower cranes and self-erecting cranes

on construction sites Attach/detach lifting gear such as slings, shackles, and hooks Signal crane operators using radio and hand signals to guide lifts Inspect rigging equipment daily and ensure compliance with safety standards Work with supervisors to plan lifts and ensure site safety Assist with crane setup, dismantling, and logistics as required Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

Valid

Rigger/Signaller certification (Nova Scotia or Canada-wide recognized)

Previous experience as a crane rigger on

high-rise or commercial projects

Knowledge of load charts, lifting techniques, and rigging equipment Strong communication skills (radio/hand signaling) Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Team player with a strong focus on safety Other safety certifications (Fall Arrest, WHMIS, First Aid) are assets
