Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Rigger to support our crane and pile driving operations on marine construction sites. This role is critical to ensuring loads are prepared, secured, and moved safely and efficiently. The Front-End Rigger works closely with crane operators, site supervisors, and crew to keep projects running smoothly and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Perform rigging duties to safely attach, guide, and detach loads. Signal crane operators to facilitate precise and safe load handling. Inspect and maintain rigging gear, slings, chains, and hardware. Assist in the setup and breakdown of cranes and piling equipment. Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines. Follow all company and regulatory safety protocols, including marine-specific requirements. Support general site activities such as material handling and equipment positioning. Contribute to crew training and mentoring where applicable.
Qualifications

Previous experience as a rigger in construction or marine environments. Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, load limits, and safety practices. Valid certification in rigging and signaling (or willingness to obtain). Ability to communicate effectively with crane operators and team members. Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor/marine conditions. Experience with forklifts, boom trucks, or pile driving equipment is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
