CRANE OPERATOR - VESSEL
LOCATION: Offshore Newfoundland
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Temporary
JOB SUMMARY: Operate the vessels crane in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance to Company Policies and Procedures. Regularly perform Preventative Maintenance on cranes and components
PREREQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent. Work experience and demonstrated ability of oral and written communications may be substituted in lieu of formal education
- 2+ years previous experience as an offshore Crane Operator
- Valid Stage 3 Offshore Crane Operator Assessment
- Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background /Pre-Employment Screening Checks.
- STCW Basic Safety
- STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
- Designated Security Duties
- WHMIS 2015
- Marine Basic First Aid
- H2S Alive
- Rigging, Slinging & Banksman
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (Air & Marine)
- Stage 3 Offshore Crane Assessment
- Confined Space Entry and Fall Protection
- Seafarers Medical
- Passport
