Crane Operator
Job Description
Ocean Work Cranes is currently seeking a Boom Truck Operator for our Island-Wide Crane Service. If you have Excellent Customer Service, Road Safety and Courtesy and an Awesome Work Ethic, then we would like you to be a part of our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be able to inspect all parts of the crane for maintenance, safe operation and cleanliness; particular attention to belts and cables for signs of wear
Knowledge of all hand signals and load limits of the crane unit
Knowledge of safe blocking on all sides for leveling and stabilization of the crane to prevent tipping and/or sliding
Awareness of both overhead concerns and buried or concealed factors which may cause unsafe operation
Ability to hoist rebar, beams, L pipes, etc safely to support our customer needs
Adhere to our strict rigging and safety procedures, along with safe work practices
While moving cranes or tractor trailers on the highway, we use the utmost regard in driver courtesy and safety. We expect the successful candidate to do the same.
QUALIFICATIONS
Years of experience Operating Cranes with rigging experience
Knowledge of cranes and safe lifting procedures
