Crawford Metal is looking to fill a Day/Afternoon shift position (2 weeks days / 2 weeks afternoon rotation).

Day Shift Hours 6:30am - 3:45pm

Afternoon Shift Hours 3:45pm - 1:15am

We are a Steel Distribution Service Centre, operating out of a new state of the art warehouse in Burlington, Ontario with all new overhead cranes (wireless remote control).

This is secure employment with no layoffs, no reduced hours, 44 hours per week guaranteed and optional overtime available.

Competitive wages with growth starting at $21 to $23 per hour depending on a person's work experiences. Benefits and bonuses also included.

Job Duties

- Operation of dual hoist overhead crane.

- Basic Crane Rigging.

- Loading and offloading material.

- Picking, Packaging and staging orders.

- General housekeeping (maintaining orderly stock / staging areas and keeping work area clear of any debris or obstructions).

Position Requirements

- Crane experience is not required but an asset, we will train.

- Ability to do large amounts of walking.

- Work in a team environment.

- Good communication with co-workers.

- Some relative steel, construction or industrial type experience.
