Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking a local Crane Operator Equipment Operator work at our project in Abbotsford, BC
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of crane to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment as required
Schedule: 10 & 4
Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
Start Date: Nov 4 2025
Wage: $52.63
What You Will Be Working On
Operate mobile, tower, or overhead cranes safely and efficiently
Inspect cranes and rigging equipment daily to ensure proper working condition
Work closely with riggers, signalers, and site supervisors to execute lifts
Maintain accurate logs of crane operations and inspections
Follow all safety protocols and site-specific procedures
Perform minor maintenance and report any mechanical issues
What We Are Looking For
CSTS 2020
WHMIS 2015
Valid Crane Operator certification (e.g., Hoisting License, Red Seal, or provincial equivalent).
Experience with operating
100-ton RT
Minimum of 5 years of experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting.
Strong understanding of load charts, rigging practices, and lift planning.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and at heights.
Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
