Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CPAP Clinician to join our team in Scarborough, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and monitoring CPAP therapy, providing patient education, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

This role requires a strong understanding of sleep disorders, CPAP equipment, and patient care best practices.

Responsibilities

oInitiate and monitor CPAP therapy as prescribed by physicians.

oProvide comprehensive education and instruction to patients on the proper use, care, and maintenance of CPAP equipment.

oConduct patient assessments to determine appropriate mask fit and equipment settings.

oTroubleshoot equipment issues and provide solutions to ensure patient comfort and compliance.

oDocument patient interactions, progress, and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly.

oCollaborate with physicians, sleep specialists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

oMaintain up-to-date knowledge of CPAP technology, sleep disorders, and industry best practices.

oEnsure patient safety and adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.Qualifications

oRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), or other relevant healthcare professional designation.

oExperience in sleep therapy or CPAP patient care is highly preferred.

oStrong understanding of sleep disorders, CPAP devices, masks, and accessories.

oExcellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.

MANDARIN and CANTONESE is an asset.

oAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

oValid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for potential home visits (if applicable)

.oProficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
