GPI has an opening for CPA with four or more years of public practice experience. Preparation of financial statements on the audit, review and compilation basis. Preparation of corporate, personal and trust income tax returns. Preparation of Government forms for income tax elections, T slip preparation, GST, PST and Work Safe filings. Review the work of other staff. Communication with clients.

Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Conduct auditing procedures to ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements. Analyze accounts for discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of corporate finance regulations and best practices in financial services.

Requirements

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, auditing, and corporate finance. Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to interpret complex financial data accurately and communicate findings effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Knowledge of regulatory standards affecting financial reporting and compliance requirements.
