Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly as they arrive and clearly communicate cover charge policies Collect cover fees accurately using cash, card, or electronic payment systems Verify guest eligibility for discounted or complimentary entry when applicable Maintain a secure and organized cash drawer, ensuring all transactions are properly documented Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest questions and concerns professionally Monitor entry points to ensure only authorized guests gain access and prevent unauthorized entry Assist with crowd control and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the venue Record all transactions meticulously in the electronic point-of-sale (POS) system and reconcile daily totals Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth entry flow during busy times Follow all company policies, health and safety regulations, and confidentiality standards

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service or cash handling role preferred; experience in a hospitality or entertainment setting is a plus Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures, POS systems, and electronic payment methods Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with diverse guests Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the venue, and handle physical tasks involved in managing entry points Basic math skills for accurate cash reconciliation and transaction processing Familiarity with security procedures related to guest verification and crowd management Knowledge of medical billing terminology or medical office experience is not required but can be advantageous for understanding complex procedures or documentation standards
