Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Cover/Coat Check attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the check-in and check-out of guests' coats and personal items in a busy environment. You will provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all guests while maintaining a secure and orderly coat check area.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist them with checking in their coats or taking their cover charge. Maintain an organized system for tracking items to ensure efficient retrieval when guests return. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Handle cash transactions accurately for any fees associated with coat check services. Ensure the coat check area is clean, secure, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during peak times. Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests, including those with children or special needs.

Qualifications

Previous experience in customer service or guest services is preferred, particularly in hospitality or food service environments. Strong public speaking skills to engage effectively with guests and provide information clearly. Cash handling experience is essential for processing transactions accurately. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure while providing top-notch service. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and ensuring guest satisfaction is crucial for success in this role.
