This posting is for one unionized contractual course-by-course appointment to teach one course as a Course Lecturer. Course lecturer positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and McGill Course Lecturers and Instructors Union (MCLIU)-CSN.

Course Description:
A clinical course on the use of consultation in educational and school-related settings. Topics include: consultation theory, the process of evaluations of the consultation process and outcomes, critical study of relevant research and practice. Includes problem identification, problem analysis, treatment implementation and treatment evaluation.
Review and critique of current theories of consultation and program development. Focus is on application and strategies in the consultation process.

Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Degree(s) required:PhD in School Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or equivalent

Experience required:Must hold a valid OPQ license and have knowledge of School Psychology and Counselling Psychology.

Other requirements:If the applicant has taught this course exactly once previously, they must have had satisfactory teaching evaluations in this course that meet the Department's expectations. This requirement does not apply to applicants who have taught the course at least twice If the applicant has not taught this course previously, but has taught in the hiring unit previously, she/he must have had satisfactory teaching evaluations that meet the Department's expectations Adherence to evolving program requirements concerning course content and program-developed competencies; course content and references must reflect the most current advances in the field

Additional Information:
Effective dates of appointment are August 26, 2025 to December 26, 2025. Course dates are August 27, 2025 to December 3, 2025. This course will be offered in-person on campus at McGill.
