We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Courier Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
Navigate efficiently using GPS systems or maps to optimize delivery routes.
Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including moving items and operating forklifts.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including pickup and drop-off times.
Experience
Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Experience in heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and forklift operation is a plus.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
