Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, registered psychotherapist to join our psychotherapy practice in King, Ontario as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will be well-trained to work with couples, and comfortable working with diverse client populations, and bring additional expertise , such as trauma treatment to the role. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in various therapeutic approaches and specialties. This position is mostly in- person, onsite.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Registered psychotherapist RP, RP(Q) Registered Social Worker SW Couples Psychotherapy training At least 2+ years of psychotherapy experience Experience with individual, couples, and/ or family psychotherapy Training in attachment theory Working independently and as part of an integrative team Managing your schedule Managing client charts and other reports Attending team meetings
Ideal Candidate:
Couples Psychotherapy Training (such as EFCT, Gottman) Some training and experience working with professional populations Trauma training an asset Family therapy training an asset Desire to be part of a supportive, growing team for the long term Strong commitment to professional development and willingness to grow with the practice
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105.00-$150.00 per hour
