Counter Staff Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patrons. You will be responsible for food preparation, handling cash transactions, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation while serving customers.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. (Weighing, Wrapping and Pricing Product)
Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces.
Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations.
Assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Provide assistance to customers with inquiries or special requests to enhance their experience.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
Supervise a small booth alone or a team of 3 in a larger setting.
Experience
Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills
with a friendly demeanour.
Described as a well spoken and social person.
Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food handling techniques is a plus.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing are essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Pervious experience as a supervisor preferred.
