Job Summary

We are seeking a knowlwdgeable and customer focused Counter Sales and Technical Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing expert guidance on concrete products while ensuring efficient sales operations and maintaining a welcoming, organized environment. The ideal candidate is personable, communicative, and capable of combining technical knowledge of concrete materials with strong customer service and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Advise customers on priper use, application, and selection of concrete products based on their project requirements Demonstrate extensive knowledge of concrete materials, tools, and industry best practices Build and maintain strong relationships with regular customers Respond to customer inquires via phone, email and in-person Identify upsetting opportunities and recommend complementary products Maintain accurate records of all transactions and customer information Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock items Coordinate with the shipping department to arrange product deliveries Maintain knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and product inventory Answer customer questions promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction Manage stock levels on the sales floor and assist in inventory replenishment when needed Assist with order picking as needed Help load customer purchases when required Support team members in achieving sales goals and maintaining a clean, organized store environment Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism to resolve issues effectively

Experience

and Qualifications

Strong technical knowledge of concrete products and applications (5+ years experience) Forklift certification (preferred but not required) Physical ability to lift upto 50lbs and stand extended periods Basic knowledge of retail operations, including cash handling and POS systems, is advantageous Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 44 per week
