We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for our customers and efficiently looking up parts on different supplier websites for customers.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders,
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, equipment,
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Adhere to all regulations and safety protocols to ensure the safety of our customers.
Experience
Previous experience in the parts industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
Knowledge of parts is an asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
