Summary

We are seeking a passionate Counselor to join our team based in Calagry. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our patients' recovery journeys, particularly focusing on obesity and their unique needs. Your contributions will directly align with our mission to promote health and well-being through integrated care.

Responsibilities

Provide counseling support to patients and their families during the rehabilitation process. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress. Educate patients and families about rehabilitation processes and resources available. Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

interest or experience in obesity counselling

Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

Experience working with children in a clinical or therapeutic setting is essential. Strong understanding of pediatric care principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with case management practices is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset. Previous hospital experience is a plus.
