About Us:

Thrive Collective is a multidisciplinary wellness centre that focuses on counselling. We serve the Fraser Valley area of BC and work very collaboratively with our community. We are seeking dedicated, passionate Registered Clinical Counsellor(s) to join us as an independent contractor(s).

We are a true Collective in that we are all independent businesses working together and supporting one another. We have sites in Abbotsford and Chilliwack and cannot keep up with the demand from our community for counselling.

We are looking to add team member(s) to work with children, youth, couples, and individual clients (you do not need to be able to serve all of these populations).

Location

: In-person Counselling in Chilliwack British Columbia

Position

: Contract Therapist/Registered Clinical Counsellor (Must be registered with BCACC)

Responsibilities

:

Conduct in-person counselling sessions from within British Columbia On occasion, offer complimentary 15-minute consultations for potential clients, either virtually or via phone; Maintain clinical records and complete proper record keeping in a timely and professional manner; Engage in ongoing professional development and regular external supervision; Maintain good professional standing with BCACC; Hold professional liability insurance and a business license allowing practice in British Columbia.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

Master's degree or higher from a recognized program in clinical counselling or counselling psychology; Professional registration with BCACC or CCC Open to new grads however with experience in private practice Must have a registered business or be willing to set one up to begin the position

Required Assets:

Evening & weekend availability Trauma training Interest in working with youth & adults

Preferred Assets:

EMDR training Experience with ADHD Interest in working with children Interest in working with couples

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $100-125/session details be discussed (income depends on your individual session rate)

Expected hours: Ideally 12-18 clinical sessions per week
