Job Description

Our clinic is currently seeking two experienced and dedicated therapists. We would like to add a psychotherapist, counsellor, or mental health therapist (Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker, Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Psychologist) to our team.

We are seeking a trauma-informed therapist who has experience working with personality disorders, PTSD, CPTSD, CBPD, psychosis and bipolar disorder. We are also hoping to add an experienced child/youth therapist to our team; someone who can support ages 5+ with trauma, self-harm, peer relationships, self-harm, bullying, ADHD, emotional and behavioural challenges.

Located in Brandon, Manitoba, Mindful Milestones Psychotherapy Clinic is a busy and growing clinic and a leading provider of trauma-informed mental health in Manitoba. We are dedicated to fostering healing and empowerment for individuals, couples, children, and families who are experiencing mental health challenges. Our clinical team is committed to providing compassionate care and support to our clients, helping them to navigate their healing journey with resilience and strength.

Responsibilities:

Conducting in-person and virtual therapy sessions in our offices in Brandon

Providing trauma-informed care to individuals and couples

Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans

Collaborating with other therapists and healthcare professionals as needed

Maintaining up to date registration and liability insurance

Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor Degree required, Master's degree preferred

Licensed or eligible for licensure

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based modalities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team

Commitment to ongoing professional development

Passion and empathy

Ideally, you're trained (or training in):

EMDR IFS Somatic Experiencing Trauma-informed hypnotherapy Cognitive Processing Therapy Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Attachment based practices Emotionally Focused Therapy Brainspotting Play Therapy
