Job Description

We are on the hunt for a dedicated Costing and Billing Supervisor to join our team in the healthcare industry, located in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the billing function, developing case costing methodologies, and analyzing patient costing and performance data. You will also be tasked with leading a billing team and resolving billing issues.Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the billing function within the organization
• Develop and implement methodologies for case costing to assist business expansion through quality costing of services
• Analyze past and current patient costing, resource utilization, and program performance to manage bundled care and other programs effectively
• Utilize your skills in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and accounting functions to ensure efficient operation
• Handle accounts receivable and healthcare billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Supervise and lead a billing team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
• Resolve billing issues, employing your problem-solving skills and knowledge of the accounting cycle
• Leverage your expertise in financial reporting to maintain transparency and facilitate decision-making.
• The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.
• The potential permanent staff should be well-versed in various accounting functions.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• The candidate must have experience in HealthCare Billing.
• Knowledge and experience in Costing is important.
• The candidate should be familiar with the entire Accounting cycle.
• The potential permanent staff should have a strong background in Financial Reporting.
