Costing Analyst Buy America Compliance Role

Job Description

POSITION GOAL:


The Costing Analyst is responsible for conducting Pre- and Post-Buy America audits, Canadian Content audits, and Cost audits. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, supports accurate reporting, and contributes to the efficiency of costing processes across the organization.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for preparing Pre-and Post-Buy America Analysis and audits Responsible for preparing Pre-and Post-Canadian Content and audits Responsible for requesting/updating/maintaining Buy America certificates throughout the year Responsible for requesting/updating/maintaining Buy Canadian certificates throughout the year Request, pull invoices/quotes for Buy America audits Request, pull invoices/quotes for Canadian Content audits Request, pull invoices/quotes for Price/Cost analysis audit Responsible for updating process and manual for Pre/Post Buy America & Canadian Content tasks Responsible for filing related to Buy America and Canadian Content Assist to schedule cost roll update, daily programs (no list price & future cost), and saving Oracle reports. Assist in preparing daily Inventory, WIP and In-transit Standard change reports Assist in preparing weekly cost roll & update runtime HRS over the weekend Assist with year-end inventory count Assist with other Costing related functions as required

Requirements



High school diploma or college diploma required; 1-2 years of equivalent accounting work experience will be considered Knowledge of Bill of Materials preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required; experience with Oracle is an asset Strong analytical skills with accurate computer and calculation abilities Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Quick learner with the ability to multitask; reliable and accountable Familiarity with standard office equipment (computer, photocopier, printer, calculator)
